LET'S GET UNCORKED & ARTSY!
Thirsty for some Downtown FUN? Uncorked & Artsy is BACK on October 6th from 6-9pm!! Featuring wine and beer tastings at Downtown Mooresville businesses, an Art Walk where local regional artists display and sell works along Broad & Main Streets, PLUS live music, store specials, and light appetizers served both inside of businesses and outside on the sidewalks.
Tickets are $25 per person and include 16* tastings and a souvenir Downtown Uncorked & Artsy glass. (*based on consumption of alcohol; not number of participating businesses). The art and live music performances are free to attend. Net proceeds directly benefit Mooresville Arts!
Tickets can be purchased in advance online and in-person at the following businesses: 202 North Main Fine Wines, Spirits & Music Room, Four Corners Framing & Gallery, Juelerye Fine Gifts & Art, Mooresville Arts, and Southern Notions or at the event gate beginning at 5:45pm. Check-in station will be located on Main Street between Moore & Center Avenues.

We are proud to announce that Southern Notions business owner and MDC Board Member Stephanie Hathaway has been presented with the Russ Crimi Above and Beyond Award. The award, named in honor of Mooresville Police Public Safety Officer Russ Crimi, a longtime protector and supporter of Downtown, represents a revered level of appreciation for those who demonstrate consistent and valued commitment to Downtown Mooresville.
Hathaway opened Southern Notions in March of 2020. Southern Notions is a unique shopping experience featuring home décor, furniture, gifts, and interior design services. Her dedication to personal customer interactions, exquisite home products, upscale services at a reasonable price, and support for her fellow businesses has made her business highly successful.
MDC Board Chair Kim Saragoni presented Hathaway with the award, expressing her sincere appreciation, “Stephanie immediately understood the sense of community in Downtown. She got involved right away and lent her creativity to innovative concepts for merchants to stand out." Hathaway officially joined the MDC Board in 2022, and has spearheaded and currently manages a more efficient volunteer system to help Downtown events be even more successful.
