MDC BOARD MEETING

First Wednesday of each month. Held at 1pm in the Charles Mack Citizens Center, unless otherwise indicated.  The public is welcome to attend; however, these are Board Meetings and as such, public comment is open only as noted on the agenda.

SHAMROCKS & SHENANIGANS

The Downtown Mooresville Shamrocks & Shenanigans is the St. Paddy’s event of the Charlotte - Mooresville - Lake Norman region that you don’t want to miss. The Mooresville St. Patrick’s Day Festival & Bar Crawl hosts Live Music by Pluto for Planet, Irish Dancers, Mooresville Fire-Rescue Pipes & Drums, Food Trucks, festive adult beverages, and loads of family fun along Broad & Main Streets. Tickets are $25 in advance or $30 at gate (until sold out) and include 9 Festive Tastings, a lanyard with drink punch card, & a scarf with an event pin. Tickets are ONLY required to participate in the bar crawl. 3-8pm. Volunteers needed!

NOTE: Advance purchase tickets MUST be redeemed by 6pm on March 14th at check-in location, near the corner of Main Street & Moore Ave.

 

Participating Tasting Locations:

158 on Main, 202 North Main Fine Wines, Live Music & More, Dive Bar, Dulcet & Delish, Famous Toastery Downtown, High Branch Brewing Mooresville, Murto Made Distillery Mooresville, On Tap Crafty Brews, and Stardust Cellars.  Event organized by the MDC. Live music stage brought to you in partnership with 158 on Main and Waves Entertainment.

Downtown Mooresville Social District is in place Noon to 10pm, seven days a week. Stardust Cellars is the largest meadery in the South, famous for their unique spontaneous fermentation methods, using local NC honey and well water to make their meads in the Foothills. In addition to a world-renowned list of both on-tap session and traditional styles of meads they make cider, wine, and nonalcoholic beverages and plan to compliment their selection with a revolving list of local honeys to taste, a hand-curated list of minimal intervention wines, and DIY charcuterie options sourced from around the world meant for pairing with their beverages.
