August 27 – Mooresville Arts | Mooresville Arts is participating in the NC Plein Air Event which combines the efforts of NC visual artists, community leaders and the public in a week-long event to include a three-day workshop taught by Artist Harold Frontz and a three day “Plein Air Paint Out”. Meeting of the Mooresville Downtown Commission Board of Directors, Committee Members and volunteers. Open to the Public. 1pm Moore Room, Charles Mack Citizens Center.

September 8 – Mooresville Arts |
Mooresville Arts offers the Open Studio Group Show Opening Reception. Every Wednesday afternoon, Mooresville Arts members are invited to meet to work alongside one another on the project of their choice. The exhibit will showcase recently completed art projects. 103 W. September 9 - Festival of Food Trucks |
Gourmet Fare (from a bunch of trucks). North Main Street (between Moore Ave & Iredell Ave) from 5-8:30pm. Main Street from Moore Ave to Iredell Ave will be closed for the event so bring a chair, hang out in the street and stay a while so you can check out these awesome Food Trucks from around the area offering delicious and creative food. Listen to live music, have a beer or a glass of wine, stroll the streets & shop - all Happening in Downtown Mooresville.

AUGUST

No matter when you stop by Downtown Mooresville, you can be sure something fun is going on. Get your green on during the annual St. Patrick's Day Parade. Come hungry and leave stuffed at our hipster food truck rallies. Enjoy monthly outdoor summer music. Take home fresh veggies and cooking tips from a weekly farmers market. In late October, you’ll find the streets crawling with young ghosts and monsters looking for a treat! Your child will color these shoes with sharpies to decorate for their first day of school. This is a drop-in class and takes approximately 30 minutes to complete the shoes.
