October is packed with Mooresville Downtown Commission and Downtown Small Business events!
October 1 - Downtown Uncorked & Artsy | Join us in Downtown Mooresville for a unique evening featuring wine & craft beer tastings, artists, and music along Main & Broad Streets. The wine & craft beer tasting is a ticketed event. Each ticket is $25 which includes a souvenir wine glass and 16, 1 oz. tastings total. In addition, stroll along Main & Broad Streets to visit with artists and listen to live music, 6-9pm. Live music by Musically Yours & Name TBD Bluegrass. Buy Tickets Here through Noon on 10/1. Walk up ticket sales begin at 6pm. Check in and ticket sales are at the Downtown Mooresville event trailer, parked on Main Street between Center Ave. & Moore Ave.
October 2 – Downtown Mooresville Wiener Race | The annual Wiener Race is back! It’s a race day to celebrate the much beloved Dachshund breed. There are 6 race categories along with plenty of contest including best dressed, best trick, longest body and more! Intersection of Church St. & Center Ave., 2pm - 5pm. October 2 - Festival of Food Trucks | Gourmet Fare from a bunch of trucks (13 to be exact)! It gets crowded, so come early, bring a chair, bring a friend, and hang out in Downtown Mooresville! Live music by Hotwax & the Splinters & Name TBD Bluegrass. NOTE: October’s event will be held on Main Street between Center Ave. & Iredell Ave., 5-8:30pm
October 6 - MDC Board Meeting | Charles Mack Citizens Center, 1pm
October 8 - Our Town Stage Comedy Series | Join us for the Our Town Stage Comedy Series first show featuring Reno Collier! Known for his time working with Larry the Cable Guy and his contagious laugh, Reno has built a reputation for selling out comedy clubs nationwide. Doors open at 7pm and show starts at 8pm. October 23 - Our Town Stage Indoor Concert Series | Back by popular demand, NC’s very own award-winning Elvis Presley tribute artist. Doors open at 7pm and show starts at 8pm. Guests can enjoy a cash bar during cocktail hour starting at 7pm, located in the lobby of the auditorium.

October 29- Downtown Mooresville Candy Grab | Crazy number of kids, having a great time in Downtown Mooresville while our locally owned businesses pass out candy. Dress up & have fun in the heart of Mooresville! The event runs from 3-5pm but thousands of pieces of candy will be handed out and the event will end promptly at 5pm - don't be late!
